I had the pleasure of meeting Christina of Dessert for Two when I attended Food Blog South in 2010. I believe she was the first person I met! She is definitely a sweetheart and I love following her blog.
I had some strawberries that I needed to use up and remembered this recipe that I saved. I was able to whip them up pretty quickly on a Sunday morning to have with breakfast. They were so good and with strawberries being in season, you can’t go wrong with doubling the recipe. I froze a couple to have for breakfast during the work week and they were just as good as fresh out of the oven.
I also added some of this caramel pecan butter that I bought at the farmer’s market. I had to remember that it was butter and stop spreading it! Um um good!
